The appointee should:

  • Be in possession of Matric / Grade 12 qualification
  • Be studying towards an appropriate tertiary qualification
  • Have appropriate procurement and buying experience
  • Exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills in English
  • Be computer literate particularly in Microsoft Office packages
  • Have SAP ERP Procurement System knowledge
  • Possess excellent interpersonal abilities
  • Be prepared to work extended hours on an ad hoc basis
  • Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at a relevant Sibanye-Stillwater occupational Health Centre

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and procuring required goods and services

  • Liaising with external suppliers

  • Liaising with internal clients
  • Ensuring that appropriate sourcing functions are performed
  • Updating and expediting purchase orders
